There are numerous ways to download youtube videos but most of the methods either require downloading software or some user script to be installed at the user end.
At the end using the software or the user script becomes tedious for a layman user, but there can be a simple way out also to download any youtube videos.
You can simply download any youtube video just by clicking a bookmark in firefox or opera
It involves a simple link which you need to make a bookmark in the toolbar by dragging the link to the bookmarks toolbar.
How to make a bookmark?
Go to this link and drag the link called All-In-One Video Script and drag it to the firefox toolbar and then release the left click at the bookmarks toolbar.
How to use the bookmark to download videos?
Just open any youtube video for watching and click the bookmark in your toolbar to get the download link for that video.
After clicking the bookmark, you will see download link to the video as shown in the image below
Click Download Link to start downloading the video but remember to save it with a .flv extension
Note: To play a .flv media file, you will need FLV Player, or VLC Player.
